Sean Burton Records 1000th Point |

It may have been Friday the 13th, but that didn't matter to Sean Burton of the Goderich Pirates. Sean was needing just 2 points to reach the 1000 point plateau. Things started out good for Sean, as he recorded an assist on Goderich's 2nd goal of the night. With the game tied at 2, after Thedford tied the game on a powerplay, Sean went to work. At the 13:12 mark of the 2nd period, Sean would score an unassisted goal to give him 1000 points. The Pirates bench stormed the ice. There was a breif stoppage in play as fans and the WOAA saluted Sean on this milestone. Gary Gravett congratulated Sean on behalf of the WOAA.
